37. Prenatal diagnosis of an unusual mosaic homozygous t(2;3) balanced translocation

      Diagnostic genetic amniocentesis was performed at 19 weeks and 4 days for the pregnancy of a 36-year-old (G3P1SAB1) patient after routine ultrasound showed a cystic placenta and hepatomegaly. Interphase fluorescence in situ hybridization (nuc ish) Aneuploidy Screen (AneuVysion) was consistent with a female, with two signals for the probes to chromosomes X, 13, 18, and 21.
